My Style As A Clinician

As a clinician I hold an eclectic style, drawing from many different theories, beliefs and ideas to support and nourish the change folks wish to see. My style is always evolving partly because I enjoy learning about new clinical ideas and believe keeping up with current literature helps guide my work appropriately. I truly appreciate learning and attuning myself to the needs and preferences of the folks I work with.

While I work with adults, children, adolescents, teens, families, and couples, several of my goals in my work remain the same: establishing safe and connective rapport, developing emotional, somatic and intellectual awareness, resourcing folks with appropriate emotional tools, naming systemic and institutionalized factors contributing to the lived experiences of folks, and supporting folks in understanding how their stories, present and generational, have and continue to impact their lives. These aspects of my work are mutually orchestrated together to consensually facilitate the change that brings folks harmony and balance to their lives.
